Ahhhhh! The easy, breezy, beachy bedroom photo has inspired me to paint my latte colored bedroom soft white. Loved the color when I first moved here, but now it looks dingy to me. Time to freshen up! :)

It's funny you all, I was just talking to a good friend who is painting her bedroom today and it's making her so happy.
I highly recommend this book: Bedroom Feng Shui by Clear Englebert. I'm not very good at feng shui, but it really helps you clear the clutter from your bedroom and make it a true retreat. For me, this usually means cluttering up my guestroom, but so be it!

I think the wallpaper is Sakura by Osborne and Little, and comes in many different colors. It's pricey though. A few months ago on littlegreennotebook.com Jenny (the blogger) used a similar wallpaper in her mother's dining room and it's way cheaper and has a very very similar look!

I sometimes wonder about having such a light-coloured bedroom with so many windows. I think there would be a lot of light leakage, and with white walls, it would bounce around and light up the bedroom, wouldn't it? The sun comes up as early as 4:30 am in the summer at my place - and I painted my bedroom walls the darkest red I could find.
