We like the 2nd floor balcony (not the iron railing though) and covered patio area. Would like it to lead to an uncovered patio area with a fire pit
Like the stone, shingled look; shape of 3 season porch; stone patio/fire pit (although would like it higher - not where girls could walk right into it). Like the hip roof, exterior lighting.
Outdoor Living - Valencia firepit in harvest gold
We like the stone patio and the transition from an eating area closer to the house down to a fire pit seating area further away from the house.
Like the shape and location of the porch as well as the windows. Would also have liked a gas fireplace.
Like the stone, would prefer contrasted with shingles. Like the overall look especially the turreted bay (vision is to have that type of window with the dining room.
Love the look of this in the back - both a covered and uncovered stone area. Also like the upstairs deck (Chris does want a covered/shaded upper porch though - will email some thoughts).
Love the front entry and wrap porch
Like the french doors to the outside
Love the side-entry garage and also the side entrance. I also like the cupola on the garage (a nice to have if it ends up working with the overall design. We have one now with a sailboat weathervane, but our garage is in the rear ...)
Like a covered version of the second floor deck
Like the white and dark wood mix and overall look of the staircase. Do not need that level of woodworking in the front hall as we are looking for a more casually elegant feel to the home.
Like the front door, windows around it letting light into the home. Also like porch and walkway up to the home.
Would ideally like a walk-in closet large enough to have a center built in as opposed to having a dresser in the bedroom.
Need 3 large closets like this for kids to keep all their stuff - backpacks, coats, shoes, etc. Also need a walk-in closet to handle our coats, shoes, cleaning items, etc.
Like the slate floor, window and external access (in addition to access to the garage). A back stair is a nice to have, but not a necessity (we have one now).
Like this desk area - has room for house files, kids stuff, phone books, some cookbooks, etc.
Like the mix of off-white and dark woods, room for 3 at the island, apron sink, windows looking out (even through porch area).
Like the chair rail and detail below plus the crown. Detail above the chair rail not necessary.
Love this butler pantry ... maybe a simpler / smaller version
Desk space, large island
Like the look and feel ... lights over island; cabinet covered hood
Like the breakfast nook - doors to outside patio and room for round table for 5
