Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Soft color with glaze for texture, decorative valence at bottom
Mirrored doors - Would reflect the room, making it seem bigger. Would reflect the view as well. Could do an antique-style mirror (smoky and texture).
Pocket doors example
Here they matched the kitchen - makes sense because it is so open. In your case, I would do something different to enhance the elegance of dining room.
Simple Wood, like the gently arched doors
Dark but interesting. The hardware lends dimension.
Matching corner units. Not our configuration but the arch doors with Keystone trim gives it depth and dimension - without needing color to make it interesting.
Open Buffet built-in. Used columns for definition.
Recessed into wall
Soft color with elegant onlays
Looks like a soft green. Coordinates with artwork - something to think about.
Linen Color. I like the mullions on the doors, the crown molding
I like this color. Seems like the soft/green blue would pick up the colors from the outside - your beautiful pool and plantscape.
I just like this room. Can't really do open shelves but I like the way they pulled the colors together.
