Houzz Tour: Buena Vista Residence

From the beautifully organized pantry to the gorgeous open shelving, we are loving all the little details of this renovation. Typical of many San Francisco Victorians, this home’s kitchen had evolved out of an enclosed porch.
Designed by Schwartz and Architecture, the centerpiece of the new kitchen is a fabulous island / drop-leaf table that converts from a casual family dining area to a place for the kids to work on art projects, or to provide seating for twelve.
Open shelving and a series of custom ledges for the family’s seasonal canning efforts intensify the casual, working feel of the kitchen, which is both modern, yet appropriate to the essence of the home.
