current kitchen
Galley kitchen options, plus use of wainscot/ beadboard as backsplash

Color scheme: white from counters up, dark below. Too clinical?

Open shelves for glasses... Layout is almost exactly like ours but wider, I think.

Stools fit right into nook

Not sure what I think but it's an option.

Dislike the style but debated a bench next to the stove (one cabinet in between) so someone could sit while I cook or j could help without a stool.
Q

Upper cabinets over stove after all?

Ooh. Bench along empty wall if appliances all move to one wall. Is this too specific to be able to sell later?

Bench seating on blank wall w one wall solution?
Q

I just like it

Open shelves for appliances

Dark floors, white cabinets, dark counters

Love open shelves

Bar!

Appliances along one wall means straight unobstructed view from the photog's vantage point across the kitchen to the back door/ yard. In our house, the left wall would be a plain wall, but could put shallow storage there?
Q

Multiple cabinet colors and counters. Direct path from doorway through to window IS obstructed by the cabinet on the left but looks okay.
Q

Dark floors, view through kitchen, simple cabinets.

Yellow ceiling is cute.

Wainscot as backsplash- easy. Does it have to be the vinyl kind in a kitchen? And this only goes partway up, plus the fridge isn't enclosed, which I think I like.

This would be a solution to add more cabinets to the blank wall in the kitchen if we move all the appliances to one side
