Or perhaps it was the perfect outdoor space? For many buyers on the hunt, a sunny spot to dine and relax in the summer is the one thing on their must-have list.

Well, also the porch. And oh, so many other rooms. The porch did not look like this photo when we purchased it... it just well, allowed us to create this semi-tropical feel. So inviting. And we love adding things like the mexican and moroccan-like tin and glass lights... vintage, rustic, ornate all seem to go with the simple Victorian feel of the home. We really fall in love with parts of any home we own.
Another thing we fell in love with was the open beam ceiling and the large built in bookcase. More photos on the blog inspireyourlifestyle.com

We did not fall for a certain "thing" in our next house, but for its potential. It is a u-shaped bungalow in the neighborhood we envisioned, in a big city, and has a zen-like atrium garden. The house is getting a complete overhaul and the walls towards the atrium have already been replaced by floor to ceiling windows. So, I think we fell in love with the vision.
Pic 1: The most scary "before" anticipation of a view, once those doors are replaced.
Pic 2: The kind of scary "before" demo of the kitchen.
Pic 3: The new doors to enhance our view and installation of our temporary plywood countertops.
Pic 4: Stage one of the back yard transformation and the view we enjoy from the kitchen sink.
It gets better every day and it's all worthwhile!
