Houzz is the new way to design your home.
This is the dry riverbed idea that I had in mind. Choose plants that are native and hardy.
This idea of using an old door is really neat. I like it.
This is what I picture the pathway through our garden to be like.
Hmmm....this checkerboard is fun.
A good walkway for the entrance to the garden off the back deck.
I like this use of flagstone too.
I have always like the idea of a wall like this between our place and the Lane's if basket ball becomes an issue.
This would bed cool in our backyard with the pool behind it.
It looks inviting....the lounge and the wine bottle.
I like the way these curtains are tied in knots. The grey floor reminds me of our place. I love the tropical plants.
The sheer curtains are interesting. Also note the tied knot and tie back. I like the walkway. Dreamy.
I love the fan. I love the colour of the curtains with the black fan. I also love the hanging baskets in ivy and ferns....no flowers that would drop all over and they don't need deadheading and all they need is good light not direct sunlight.
I like the built up planters for vegetables at the cottage. One day perhaps?
This reminds me of Dad and the box we built for me.
How practical is this! Great idea! Keeping just for fun. I have wondered about this for the pavilion.
This is what a red front door would look like with the black screen door.
This would be nice on our house.
The variant of colour and texture is superb. A work of art.
Our garden was like this at one time. Could we create this again?
This reminds me of how our pavilion could be. Very interesting and serene.
The stone floor is interesting and the arch of the screen.
This is a bit like what I have envisioned.
What a gorgeous display of grasses. Love it.
This is how I picture the area that once had the pond.
Noted for the gravel and flagstone and colours in the landscaping.
This is sooo interesting.....even without the gazing balls.
Everything! I can plant a tree on the side to create this. Looks great.
This is what I picture for the south garden....no grass. Love the pots. Use gravel around the garden? This paving looks amazing.
This is absolutely to die for. It is how I pictured the south side of the cottage for years.
Fabulous hosta garden. Love it.
Ornamental Onions and hostas.....great idea combo.
This is so different. I really like it.
Would we want to use stone as a patio?
This looks like our garden to me....the way it should look. the pea gravel next to the retaining wall is something I have thought about.
I like the cabinet storage each side of the mirrors. The cabinets are nice with the large drawers below doors.
