Living room: dark wood, light and colored upholstery, blue/green/white layered curtains, coral (or orange or red, depending on the season) accents, white trim, light floor.
I like the swoop across the top of the couch.
needs more color, but a great start, though I'd have another shelf in my coffee table or just padded benches
accent wall and/or color in the vaulted ceiling/skylight area
accent color in bookcase instead of an accent wall - but since I want dark wood, would this work? Also like the multicolored curtains. Could easily make those. The tiers at the top sort of compromise between having just curtains or curtains and a valance without the actual bulk of a valance.
subtle pattern on couch, padded ottoman
really fluffy rug in a small conversation corner
gorgeous bookcases make laundry area seem bigger
window seat storage
cabinetry flanking fireplace
love vaulted ceilings and these trusses are lovely (plus easy to hang stuff seasonally)
color scheme is nice - reminds me of spring. Maybe in a decade or so when we have a living room *and* family room, use this color scheme for one of them.
all couches are off the floor for space
textured wall and wall color
painted bookshelves with painted paneling behind shelves
switch purple for coral. I like the walls/ceiling/curtains, but would I do them vice-versa?
aqua instead of green
minimal colors - not quite fun enough but nice layout
cabinet, but add feet
long window seat with pouf chairs
living room colors?
detailing on back of couches
piano by stairs?
corner bookshelf between two normal ones
nice table legs
beautiful French doors
split up bookshelves
beautiful entry, but needs different vase and flowers
layout and console table off the floor
bookshelves as divider walls in open plan
smart cabinet/bench idea. I could totally have this for my computer use.
Love the weaving. Could do this to my curtains - the horizontal bands could be strips and I'd just have to slice roughly foot-long vertical slits to weave them through.
nice living/dining combo
