Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Plans to redo the living room in blue-gray, light blue, and light yellow with maybe coral. Also dark wood and white trim, maybe some other white furniture (like a bookcase so I can do an accent wall inside). So far I like: neutral couch, maybe a patterned/colored chair, blue-gray wall, yellow patterned curtains or tiered curtains (the ones with multiple fabric at the top or bottom), light blue ceiling. Throw pillows would have yellow, light blue, and maybe coral. Floral arrangements: billy balls and other yellow (and maybe coral) flowers.
yellow patterned curtains against neutral wall
gray blue with light yellow. I like the recessed lighting coming from the shelves that looks like it's actually from the windows. Putting a credenza against the back of the couch is a good use of space.
color scheme - use a gray blue on walls. Also like white, dark wood, glass, neutral couch.
add yellow and blue gray
nice yellow, fun pattern for pillows but I'd like the big furniture more plain, could have a patterned chair
nice colors, add more gray
ceiling color, dark wood with duller blue preferred, add more yellow
neutral room with colors in changeable places (i.e. not the furniture), curtains have plain border and patterned insides
color scheme - add yellow and make the neutral more so (unless I like this instead of coral and blue gray), patterned chair
color scheme - add coral?
add coral to color scheme?
accent wall and/or color in the vaulted ceiling/skylight area
accent color in bookcase instead of an accent wall - but since I want dark wood, would this work? Also like the multicolored curtains. Could easily make those. The tiers at the top sort of compromise between having just curtains or curtains and a valance without the actual bulk of a valance.
subtle pattern on couch
subtle fat stripes on wall
rug has pops of color
really fluffy rug!
billy balls! That's pretty much all I like about this.
This just looks comfy and I love all the windows. Big living room table, but I'd like it better with a shelf underneath. Fat poofy ottoman. Could make a beanbag too.
curtains to cover bookshelves below waist height
gorgeous bookcases make laundry area seem bigger
window seat storage
cabinetry flanking fireplace
love vaulted ceilings
color scheme is nice - reminds me of spring. Maybe in a decade or so when we have a living room *and* family room, use this color scheme for one of them.
warmth - would be great as a living room when we have a house and I can use the blue one for the family room
neutral ceiling, color wall
textured wall and wall color
dark brown shades
textured bedspread fabric for curtains
coral or yellow stripe between crown molding and ceiling
painted paneling in bookshelves
switch purple for coral. I like the walls/ceiling/curtains, but would I do them vice-versa?
light blue instead of green
minimal colors - not quite fun enough but nice layout
