Unlock the entire Houzz
Bar color. Also ceiling and granite. Need more glass storage and no stone behind sink. Maybe tile. Like the wood behind the bottles.
long, low fireplace
tv over fireplace
This looks about right for FP and surround. Need to check heights and placement in basement. I like the FP really close to the floor.
same, different picture view
Traditional FP with TV. Very close to our idea, except FP on ground, no hearth, and larger TV
Drawer board. Addison and plug
European style door with folding vent over door for steam room
Heated seat in steam room; all vapor barriers and TCNA specifications
Cut section of tile and membrane with drain application for steam room
Alternative cool lighting options for bathroom shower
Rain shower head. Would be an option on a valve in addition to the normal shower head.
Good idea for insulation around the steam room. Also, need to wrap all pipes in basement with foam so condensation drips don't ruin the drywall ceilings.
Increase CFM of fan in bathroom. Also like the European style drain along the wall.
lighting with sound that connects via bluetooth. Love this idea. Also, service access through the rainhead or fan.
I like everything about this; his and hers shower heads, arched ceiling, rain shower head, nice bench, inset in wall, different tile in ceiling than wall, detail tiles, EU style door.
Like this style also, with the continuous floor and no ridge between bathroom floor and shower floor. Also, 72 hour flood test is a good idea.
No mesh backed tile
One more important Tip: Keep all joints in corners between two different walls, between the walls and the floor, and between the walls and the ceiling during the tile installation absolutely clean !!!!! And fill (I deliberately say:“fill” and not:“seal” because silicon is NOT a sealant!) them with 100% real silicone. These joints are very important expansion joints !!!. And don’t use siliconiced acrylic (known as caulk) !!! Caulk is water based and macerates every time it goes with.
Greg, this is the bathroom we are going with. Color and everything. Need to price out marble for the small SQ Ft. we need, or Wendy will pick an alternative. Need to find a remnant for vanity. Also, will NOT go with wood bench in shower, it will be built into the back wall, with a solid porcelain tile top. I am OK with the step into the shower.
styles of shelves and doors for craft area
Storage space and access
Neat idea to incorporate into area around TV
One of the better executions of TV and Fireplace side by side. Even though it is wrapped around a corner.
WE like the idea of being able to cover the TV. Pocket doors, sliding doors, or a large picture that folds out of the way. Alternatively, would like to frame the TV so that when not in use, it looks like a picture, and we can have pictures of art, or family photos scrolling across.
Paneled door option for hiding the TV
Interesting to put a dissolving mirror over the TV.
clean look, speakers incorporated into back panel on either side of the TV.
Symmetrical with drawer options, shelving and flows into the desk area, which could be the FP area.
Incorporated speakers, arches are nice. Just a bit heavy on the widthe of wood between shelving units
More of a classic look with glass doors.
Another option...not the best just gathering as an idea starter.
Having pillars on each side would lend to putting the speakers into the pillars and blending them into the media center.
very clean incorporation of the TV into the cabinet. It looks like a picture frame.
Just an idea....if we carry the FP stone over to be the background to the TV space, it may tie together better.
