Paisley—a teardrop-shaped pattern that originated in India or Persia—can add great style to any space today. Its swirling shapes capture the eye and set many moods depending on the colors and placement you choose. It has been associated with the shape of many fruits and vegetables, including the mango. Because paisley is such a bold print it is often used in smaller accessories like pillows, artwork, and bedding. But bold decorators will use paisley in upholstery, drapery and wallpaper.
