Sliding door track
Ship lap wood plank ceiling with beams (although your beams are not proposed to be antique hand hewn)
Standing seam metal roof that I have bid; could bring price down by several thousand dollars by going with a high quality architectural shingle
I think you are planning on a more painted look for the porch beams and posts, but this picture captures the metal roof, with the front porch, and the three double doors
This picture shows a similar look to what I have priced: painted wood plank ceiling with exposed structural stained beams.
Or you could paint the ceiling beams too. This picture also shows the board and batten painted walls
ceiling and wall detail
This shows the board and batten walls.....notice the horizontal trim at about 8' from the floor. This is a way we can handle covering the seams in the plywood panels. I'm not sure I would use this wide of trim, but this should give you the idea.
Or we could stain ceiling planking and beams
Is this painted look close to what you are looking for?
Square porch columns - these are probably only about 12-14" wide....and if you ask me, I would say this proportion is better for the bunkhouse.....vs. the 18"
Disregard the look of this room.....just want to point out the stair railing. I am not recommending this particular design, but this does show a steel railing and wood handrail/posts like what I think you want
another iron and wood railing detail
I like the idea of a clean painted interior with stained wood plank sliding doors, ceiling beams, and stairs
....or we could paint the sliding doors. I like that track hardware too.
12" square columns with trim around top and bottom; we could get away with less trim on your columns, but I like this size for your home.
