Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Brick is cool idea for front porch instead of pavers or wood/synthetic decking
Favorite front porch ever. Fans.
Cool space, would be great screened in and lighter color, like distressed white with skylights.
I love the idea of a fireplace built into the building off a covered back patio. Cool ceiling, fixtures. Would do regular fans over the cheap looking ones. This could be attached to house off family room (perhaps with a grill right around there) AND have a screened in porch attached on one side of the patio which also is attached to the house (kitchen area), so you have these 2 outside rooms attached to the 2 inside rooms. Big windows and/or French doors allowing views into the woods.
Very cool views. This room would be back/middle of house, so the woods would be visible through the larger windows, with the kitchen and a small eating area also having cool views into the woods. I think I really like the smaller nook for informal eating with the more formal area back further. Honestly, would LOVE a den against the woods with a fireplace and taller ceilings.
Cool step down, cool little built-ins, love the arches.
Smaller than I like, but cool everything
Spice rack genius!
Similar to the other picture, I like the kitchen/living room interface. Again, doors opening to the back deck/patio area with nice woods views. Nice breakfast nook, like the colors.
I kind of like the eating area built into the countertop. Different take on the kitchen "island" idea.
Colors are cool, especially the dark wood floor. Like the brick wall and I love the commercial stove.
Interesting way to do a boring layout for a kitchen. Love the tiles on the ceiling (really want them downstairs above my bar), and again the colors are nice.
Best corner drawer idea ever.
I like the idea of this tumbled roman block tile floor.
Nice built-ins, could be good for a smaller bathroom or guest bathroom.
Big shower seat is continuation of the tub, I like the skylights, but not sure about them. Gotta be right with the whole theme, but would be cool facing east in the morning... depending on where your mirrors are:)
LOVE all the shower heads, the seat, the built in... everything about this is cool to me.
Super cool shaped corner shower on outside corner of house. Like the windows and skylight.
Great way to utilize a small room for an office. I don't need a big office, but I do need a room dedicated for it.
pull-out door for ties, belts, etc is a great way to keep the closet looking clean and still accessible.
Simple and clean for guest bedrooms. Nicer than those wire rack ones that are all over the place without adding too much cost.
Hideaway hampers in the closet are great for the same reason the slide out tie/belt drawer. I like the shelves above too for folded up clothes like sweaters and jeans, or even shoes.
Again, nice way to do storage in a classy way instead of just wire racks.
Off garage entry way storage/bench.
Creative use of small space for builtins. Really like this
Off garage mudroom or laundry room storage again
Realistic basement. I like the bar "nook," and the separation of the bar/pool table area from the movie/tv area.
really like this table, maybe for screened in porch?
Love the lighting and the shape of this lot is similar to what we'd have, so the shape of the "walk-out" on the right side is similar. I personally like the rounded room on the right for like a "study" or den with a fireplace, but have it attached to the kitchen (stepping down into this room from kitchen would be neet) on the back side of the house with a door going out to the A) screened in porch, or the B) Covered deck/patio.
