luan/thin plywood on studs for the backing. construction adhesive to attach the tiles. Layout the lines with a chalk line or flexible straightedge first.... doable. Note it goes directly into the stone floor, no baseboard at all.

OK, a stainless bowl with the appropriate diameter rim, an embroidery loop where the inside diameter is close enough to said stainless bowl, and some translucent fabric for the loop to stretch out. Paint the embroidery loop or keep it raw wood with a clear coat? Hmmmm....
