Backsplash... could be pricey... but maybe a granite/marble yard might have enough 'remnants' to do a backsplash?
I don't like the color combinations here... maybe it's just a bad photo... but I do like the stained glass colorations of the tile.
Like the accent band... not too bold but very nice in size and contrast and design. Kinda cold color though.
Green - it would be a commitment, but really it's so neutral. Pretty color combo with the white. I think this would be prettier in a restoration project.
Love colors... reminds me of the beach. The tile backsplash here looks a little more blue. Also notice the beautiful beamed ceiling with blue on ceiling.
Wow! That backsplash tile is like a shiny micah rock or something... Pretty how it has a soft color and reflective nature.
Glass backsplash would be inexpensive relatively, but this one doesn't wow me. Maybe it would look better in a modern kitchen installation with a solid color countertop.. And/or this would look better, I think, if the background color of the splash was a rich brown, like the accent in the countertops. This looks like they just gave up.
Love backsplash. It reminds me of a backsplash I loved in the kitchen set of the TV show ... ah... Will & Grace? There was a point when she had her own apartment... it was these colors but was there was also mixed with it some light purple mosaics and light glassy green mosaic.
More of the irridescent mosaic tiles... love how they pick up the light on the undercabinet lighting.
Backsplash tile apparently is Walker Zanger.
OMG ... this is too cute!
Like the color variations in the glass tile of backsplash. Would look nice with white cabinets and wood floors too... and could be feature strip in medium toned background tile and could be paired with a solid colored countertop in a light to dark wood/gray tone.
Really like the colors here and think the rough texture of the backsplash works because of the non-shiny materials used elsewhere; bronzed knobs, oak grains of the flooring, and even the basket under the butcher block top and in the open shelf ties it all together.
Hmmm.... a minimal natural mural type scene... could be a wallpaper... could be covered with glass and used on the backsplash.
Mom, does this remind you of anything!!! LOL!
LOVE these colors.
