It's popping up on blogs, on the runway and in designer's own homes and demanding that we take notice. Color is back in a big, big way. Now we just have to figure out how to incorporate it into our existing design schemes.
Throw pillows and accessories are givens for an easy, inexpensive fix that can be changed later. But to really take advantage of every inch of design space, we love making a statement with a brightly colored light fixture. Paired with coordinating touches or all alone as the focal point, a splash of color lit from inside can add miles of style to any room.

A walk-in closet with a dressing room has to be one of our dream areas to have in a home. But, truth be told, all that tan paint could get boring. What a great place to take a chance with color. These fixtures are incredible, and the color is so rich and luxurious. We love how beautifully it blends with the carpet.

| A drum shade is such a great look over a dining room table, especially in an eating area that needs to feel fun and free, not stuffy. We love how the designers here chose to go neutral with the staples and add pizzazz with the accessories. The splashes of blue in the fixture, vases and nook are just enough to add interest while keeping the feeling calm and soothing. |

We're thrilled that color is back in, and Tobi Fairley is one designer who knows how to use it well. The bold red of these fixtures is such a commanding presence in the room, but is tempered by cool blues and white walls and accessories. The effect is an entrance that makes you say "wow."
