Spring always brings the desire to clear out and start fresh. Instead, I am getting a jump start with a fresh start for February. What better way is there to show your love for your home?

My newest love is the work of Lulie Wallace. I love the vibrant colors she uses and how she tempers them all with neutrals and beautiful gray backgrounds. Any room would be freshly awakened with one of her beauties in it.
I guess because I am still coveting a headboard like this for my own bedroom, I keep wanting to include it. It definitely would be a fresh and cozy update for any bedroom.
I am also coveting this bedspread from West Elm. Every time I get a white duvet cover, it doesn't seem quite right to me. I think what has been missing is the beautiful texture in this one; the gathers give it so much character.
Ah, who could resist this happy wallpaper? Make any room a party with this beauty on hand. Even just one wall would benefit from its lustre, right?
These chairs are so handsome and so grounding. They would bring any room down to earth and warm it up at the same time.
I am still a big fan of the weathered/crackled patina on pots like this. It is so pretty, yet it looks like it has "paid its dues" already. It would lend lots of character to a table or entryway console.
Every room needs a little sparkle, in my opinion. This simple but luxurious beauty fits the bill. It would be good for a bedroom, living room or dining room. It's really hard to go wrong with it.
Yep, I'm still coveting the beautiful Moroccan wedding blankets. Maryam of My Marrakesh has a beautiful collection for sale. I want to hang one behind my bed — wouldn't that be beautiful?
I like birdcages, especially without birds in them. I always feel badly for any little creature stuck in a cage, but for display, I still love them. This incredibly grand one would be pretty spectacular on a porch or in a dining room.
It wouldn't be February if you weren't dreaming of the coming spring right around the corner. So, what better way is there to daydream than thinking about a lovely new set of wicker for the porch? Gathering outside in the spring and summer is one of my favorite things to do.
I love this lamp so much. Its beautiful feminine shape and gorgeous gold shine are a great way to brighten a dark corner or add welcoming light to a favorite reading spot.
These are beautiful coasters, and, like the chairs above, I feel they can bring any decor down to earth and root it in beautiful warmth.
These glasses are so nice to drink from. They have a great weight, and they feel good in your hand. (Here's a little tip: they can be found for a quarter of the price at the Christmas Tree Shops if you have one in your area.)
This is gorgeous. Velvet and bright pink are two of my favorite things. It would make a beautiful addition to a bed or couch.
This is just a beautiful piece for any kitchen or craft room. It's an investment for sure, but it's so incredibly perfect.
It is always good to be reminded of this. Enjoy every moment to the best of your ability; that is the best way to refresh and start each new day (or month).
I love neutral curtains, mostly because I like an unfettered view of the sunlight and outdoors. However, this curtain has a subtle design embroidered on the bottom that gives it a little extra interest.
Knobs are always a fun and easy way to update a piece of furniture, and these knobs are so incredibly sweet.
This is such a pretty rug at such a great price. It might be a tad difficult to keep clean, depending on where it lives, but I would give it a try!
I am looking forward to this book coming out in March. Selina Lake's latest is all about using what you've got (including your creativity and imagination) and not having to spend too much.
