Searcy Kitchen l Jon & Kylene
This will give you an idea of the general look I like and some of the features I would include in a dream kitchen.
I like the overall feel of this kitchen, off white cabinets, stainless appliances, wood island with lighter wood floor. Also like two stools hidden under island.
We talked about this layout for the wall with the fridge.
Depending on how much space there is on the counter in the coffee nook, this would be a neat addition.. a pull out tray.
I like the glass in the cabinet faces.
I like this glass also for the cabinet faces.
I like the understated hood over the range. It would be nice if it had a little mantle. I realize our cabinets may not allow for this as they won't go to the ceiling.
This would be great for the sink area, but deeper if possible.
Yes, pullout drawers everywhere! Under the sink would be awesome.
Double Electric Assist Waste Containers
I forgot to mention that we'd like to incorporate the trash/recycling into the cabinetry.
A possibility for near the stove?
An integrated pull-out cutting board would be great though I don't want it to contrast highly with the cabinetry.
Vertical storage slats would be awesome for pans and stoneware, especially if the slats were adjustable.
I like this for the kitchenaid mixer, especially if it would pop up to counter height.
One idea for mixer, toaster, blender, etc.
I like this for wine storage, maybe over the coffee nook?
Another option for wine storage.
I love this tile backsplash.
Another backsplash idea.
This is an interesting backsplash.
I LOVE exposed brick. Can we incorporate this look on the backsplash or above the induction cooktop?
Another idea for above the cooktop.. some sort of mediterranean tile or ikat design.
I love this pullout idea for dog dishes, but our dog(s) are small, so it may be too high.
This is another idea for dog dishes, at the end of the counter that hosts the dishwasher. We use that small cabinet for dogstuff currently. I might need 3-4 bowl spaces though as we are considering two puppies.
I would love a ledge under our kitchen window, but I don't think our kitchen would allow this.
