Budget-friendly Home Makeover Ideas
Feeling the need to re-decorate but don't have much of a budget? There are lots of creative ways to mix up, invigorate, and renew your space without breaking the bank.
When working with a tight budget it's best to try to incorporate as many as your existing furniture pieces as possible. A new look can be created by painting, re-purposing, or re-covering furniture pieces. New life can be given to tired sofas with slipcovers, or layers of textiles and pillows.

Becky Harris This is the perfect time of year to implement these ideas - I think it goes hand-in-hand with some of the closet cleaning and attic organization I'm wading through right now. I love to rotate my art and furnishings in and out of rotation. One of the eight million magazines I was flipping through yesterday (perhaps Canadian H&H?) used old sweaters to cover pendant lampshades, vases, bowls - it was very cool looking and I NEVER would have though of it.

karen sabrsula I am so glad to see someone bringing out color!! It seems as of late, the trend is boring white!! Too cold and sterile! Times are tough, but we can still have cheap fun with a gallon of color!
