Reading nook ideas

My family and I are about to move into the very first house we have owned... We are so excited!!!! We want to make our new home warm, inviting, and beautiful -- but most of all we want it to be a refuge for our animal friends, a fun home for us to spend family time, and a welcoming place for our friends to come and feel at home.

I love this spatially as a reading nook... so cozy and inviting... I'm just trying to think of where I could carve out space in the house for this.
wall color, pillow accents, mirror element (not the mirror itself)
Window seat for reading with Ethie and also doubles as an interior patio for coffee, reflection, etc. I could see this in my dining room instead of the whole sliding glass door thing... Make one door into a French door to get to deck, and use the other fixed door space for this. Make it cozier, though... needs color and warmth.
dark ceiling, metallic paint on molding, mirrored inset shelf, columns and arched entryway leading you into this intimate space
the cozy reading nook, how it's been made into a plush velvet place to be secluded and read -- behind a curtain if you want to hide away... and with the books right there, and the storage for blankets, etc. underneath and hidden.
Ethan likes this one because he says he can make a fort with this one...
Ethan says, "This is perfect!," and I have to agree. He likes it because he can keep his little things closeby, and it's all cozy and nestled -- like a secret hiding place. He wants it to be close to where I work so he can fall asleep there if he's tired but wants to stay close to me.
