Danenberg Design Love the metallic or shiny look in certain projects. Of course, it doesn't always have to come from metal. It could come stainless backsplash tiles or from dichroic glass on a backsplash, or.....

Julie Earnest I am using copper tiles around my fireplace (1 1/2 " x 4" ) and echoing smaller versions of those tiles (1 " x 1") randomly scattered throughout my glass tile backsplash. The backs of my lights are also made of copper (Hubbardton Forge). Should be done soon - no photos quite yet!

Sonja Dieterichs The metallic trend was my main inspiration for my remodel; I used it extensively in our first floor remodel. Kitchen- one feature wall with gold/silver/copper/oyster iridescent metallic glass tile, metallic gold damask wallpaper for the built-in desk wall, Ralph Lauren metallic paint in a dark gold on the ceiling plaque; Dining- hot pink and silver metallic damask wallpaper with a RL silver paint on the ceiling; Living room- silver metallic paint on coffered ceiling and 2 wall plaques with hardwired wall sconces.
