Unlock the entire Houzz
I like the idea of a darker wood floor with lighter cabinets. This would mean restaining the entire first floor for uniformity.
A small area carved out for glasses, sink, wine, drinks. Could serve as a bar for entertaining or coffee as well.
I like the island design, large surface area with room for seating opposite the sink area.
Also like this island with a large butcher block top and room for seating. Stools can be pushed in when not in use.
Great idea for Sean's old room. Just use a mattress elevated on ?a building base witdrawers.
Writing on the wall or paper, for Sarah. Not sure about writing directly on the wall, very difficult to cover with paint. Calligraphy would be nice.
Clean off our large bulletin board in the kitchen and put up a map, great idea.
Utensils off the counter, use a pull out shelf like this near the stove.
I love this couch and huge door opening to the outside. Is this a hidden sliding glass door when closed?
A smaller version could be used closer to our house. I like the upper rim, could be used for sitting, taking a break.
LIke the bed and nightstands with large window.
Perhaps too much white for me, but like the overall design and use of space.
Large picture windows, do they open?
What a great idea to spark all you memories from past trips and adventures. Love this.
I like the idea of wallpaper for one tall wall in the room, not sure how it would look if the other walls were painted. Just a consideration as there are so many great wallpapers to chose from now.
I love the idea of a "drink station." Great for entertaining or just general use day to day. could also set up coffee/ tea in this area.
I love this idea. Not too much but just enough wood.
Love the symmetry of the double matching vanities and large mirror. Also like the window coverings.
Again like the symmetry. Large mirrors on either side, no art work but the room looks big. Also like the leather bench, maybe with storage?
This is exactly what I am looking for a shower next to a stackable washer and dryer.
Look great surrounded by greenery.
Free standing piece secured by bolts into stone which will weather over time. Natural looking, could be moved, relocated as needed.
Like the cabinets and pullouts by the stove.
Great storage cabinet. Also holds the microwave.
I like the idea of opening the kitchen up to the dinning room with French doors.
Portland designer. Like the large window above the sink.
I love this back patio. I wonder what the ceiling is made of? Is it a solid material to allow light through? Like the idea of lights in the ceiling and the stone columns. Just beautiful.
Same patio. Looks like the ceiling is open with a heater and lights in the cross sections.
I like the full bank of windows above the sink area..
I like the extended island to provide seating area for 5 chairs.
Another view of the island extension. See small sink with wine frig on the back wall.
+ using the same fabric for the pillows, curtains and table cloth, neutral color as well. Well done.
I like the look of the bed, simple, clean. They also kept the sliding door in a dark wood tone. Like the shape of the mirrors.
Note the fan which can retract for a flat surface. ?Is it powerful enough, will it pull the flame away from the pot?
Freezer drawers would allow for a larger frig only appliance.
Great for large pots and lids.
Great for utensils, close to the stove but off the counter top.
Opening the kitchen to the dinning room with an entry in the middle rather than then end of the wall.
Great way to handle the vacuum cleaner.
I love the blue tile, reminds me of the sea or an inviting pool.
Very open and looks like all the appliances are on one long counter area. Well organized.
How the beds are set up, quilt on the bannister and basket on the wall.
Use of old and new in the loft space.
Barn door to close off the space.
Bed against the wall, quits, pillows
Love the folding doors.
I love everything about this room from the furniture, curtains and especially the view.
I love the bed, blue accents and access to an outside patio.
Sliding door with minimal external hardware. Great for a bedroom/bath area.
Sliding door in a bathroom to save space.
Large handle, does this fit into the wall when open?
