I'm a newly converted admirer of plate racks. In the past they've seemed a wee too country for my taste; turns out my impression was based more on the decor of the rooms I saw them in than any fault of the rack itself. If you've had the same impression, maybe it's time to revisit the rack.

thanks for showing my little white kitchen display with the stainless farm sink. One of my kitchen lines has removable dowels for easy cleaning but the other does not so I would say in that case you can easily vacuum with the nozzle attachment and there is room to put your hand in between the dowels if you need to do more than vaccum.
Also glad you included the kitchen from The Old Painted Cottage - one of my favorite small kitchens.
