No matter what size outdoor area you have, especially in Florida, add value by adding an outdoor living pace. I gained extra living space as well as garden space by designing the patio end as a ziggurat (zig-zag). The space feels extended with the use of a decorative mirror used outside.

Concrete stain helped darken the pavers, while cutting expenses by cutting the least expense pavers available. (The darker the paver, the higher the expense). Designed - Styled - Photographed by: Lynda Quintero-Davids

Hi Lynda! Love the patio! What brand/ color of concrete stain did you use? Did you add a sealer? It looks so shiny! LOVE it!

Hey Bredae! Thanks. I'll have to get back to you about the brand, but yes, after we stained the pavers with concrete stain (I believe it was from Home Depot), we went back over it with a sealer. To apply, my husband sprayed (with a $15 sprayer also from HD) and I back rolled to even it out. Prior to this, I also hit random pavers and the edge with some left over Jacobean wood stain from Minwax (applied with a sponge stick & chip brush). Hope this helps....
