Houzz is the new way to design your home.
The IKEA Stolmen system is a budget-minded organizer's dream. It offers components you can mix and match that work with a tension-mounted pole system allowing you to customize the system to your needs and install it ourself inside a closet or against a blank wall. I have been very happy with this system.
Add baskets. Baskets are great for organizing loose items on your shelves giving your closet a streamlined look. Group like items in each basket so you’ll always know where to find what you’re looking for.
Choose a uniform style hanger in the same color. This helps your eye to focus on the clothing
Differentiate the heights of your shelves. To ensure a proper home for everything in your wardrobe, you're likely to need shelves of different heights. Stuffing too-tall items into too-short spaces leaves your closet feeling claustrophobic and you feeling frustrated.
Perfect your lighting. The right lighting in a closet is a must. Make sure it has a mixture of overhead ambient lighting and task lighting for any appropriate areas, such as vanities
Consider incorporating a small "china" cabinet for some additional storage. Wouldn't this be great filled with sweaters, purses or t-shirts, too?
Chandeliers...they're not just for dining rooms anymore! Seriously, would you not feel like the CEO of a major company walking into this closet? You can pick up a good size vintage chandelier for under $300 in many thrift/antique shops. If it's true you should dress for the job you want, not the job you have...this would be a great closet in which to work that concept!
Devise a system for keeping your jewelry organized and accessible. One way is by using decorative hooks for necklaces and bracelets
