Ideas for entry trimwork
I like how this trim works to break up the two story space. Example of less formal entry with trim. Would ours be higher than this? Would it wrap around the front door like this, under the windows?
I really like this trim because it feels less formal. I'm not sure how it would transition outside of the entry
Interesting where the trim starts and stops - I don't think it would work for us because our entry is not this big..
Would our windows above the front door stick up out of the moldign like this?
Should we think about tying the windows above the stairs together with just one (or two) line of molding instead of all that trim?
Could we use this for inspiration? Trim around the door and then the thick chair-rail continuing to the stair case windows? I also like how the columns around the door match (style and height) the ones in the dining entry. I like something like this much better for the dining room compared to the half columns.
Maybe this is what our front door and higher window will look like with the trim? Need to know how high it will be around the front door.
