Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Love the colours, stripes with florals
Important to have a writing desk in the living room, by the window perhaps
The backsplash for the washbasin and the wooden case around the lower washbasin, along with this colour tiles would suite the design we have planned for Master bedroom
A nice stately entrance
The stone wall and the large chandelier give this a medieval look. Add in some cool floor tiles with good rugs
I like the furniture, its simplicity and colours
I love tyhe hard surfaces, the finishes, the large lamp, the mix of glass, marble, wood, etc
like how the doors of the double ovens have been continued up and down the unit, perhaps doors to warming drawers, etc
Would be great for upstairs bathroom - light and airy
OMG, I love this entrance hallway; check out the tiles, matching striped fabric and the fab white framed double doors with glass and the brick wall beyond! Exactly the look I want for the entrance hallway
love the stripes, the tiles and wall treatments
like the simple look added to the zig zag carpet on wooden floor, which matches the wooden roof trusses
Love the idea of a big fireplace but maybe this is too dark?? Very welcoming though, esp on the edge of the cold Atlantic
Nice look, plain but classy
I love the wrought iron, decorative door on the fire, the otherwise plain decor, the clean look, nice mantlepiece over fire, but not keen on the additional decorative piece up the wall!
I really like the inset bookshelves along the wall; we can do this nicely on the south wall of the living room and maybe around the corner on to the gable end of the house.
Love the large hanging lamps!
Like the extra long cupboards with the top glass? door at top. Great for display and adding colour.
if I went down the 'modern kitchen' route, this is what I would like, but not sure yet. It even fits the floorplan
I like the mix of metal taps, white tiles and the worktop
I like the discreet lighting in the rafters! Also the open shelves with baskets in the island
These glass doors ion the units create a spacious and airy look. I also like the flooring.
Love the mix of iron and wood on the front door.
Like the island, may like it in baby blue and bigger, but with the wooden top at one end for chopping. Also like the proximity of the seating area for casual dining. A large standalone pantry would definitely fir in the same location in my design, windows are bright and well dressed!
Might be a good idea to have a 'cupboard' with door for storing wine, esp since we'll probably let the house for weeks at a time - I would like to find my own wines when I come home to stay!
This splashback might just form the focal point in the kitchen
i like the lighting, but maybe smaller is better, like the iron gate-door into kitchen, the floor and the non-fitted look. Would add a touch of colour, maybe baby blue on the island and teamed up with a wooden top.
