Who isn't fascinated by a world map? It suggests faraway places and new experiences. Decorating with map wallpaper lets your mind wander on a large scale. A map is an appropriate addition to many rooms, from a child's bedroom (where it can double as a learning device) to an adult office.
Wall-size maps come in a variety of styles, from a classic blue, green and brown relief look to colorful, graphic designs. Patient DIYers can also try wallpapering a room in actual maps, but this takes skill and time to get right. Nautical maps are also a popular wall covering.

Decaleco Here are a modern wall world map made with squares and a USA map (a good way to remember the location of each state or to put on some red dots showing the places you have been to).
