Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Don't necessarily like the kitchen as a whole, but each of the elements is really nice- the light fixtures, the tin ceiling, the built ins, and the ADORABLE dog bowls/dog storage built into the island.
The huge butcher block island and wooden beams.
The leaded windows, the island and apron sink. Similar set up with the door at the end sink side.
LIke the idea of a partition to separate the eating area from the kitchen
I love how eclectic this kitchen is- the mismatched chairs and accessories, and cabinetry.
The gigantic sink with the huge open area underneath.
The molding, leaded windows, the island and rug.
I love the light fixtures, the hood and the tile behind the stove. Wondering if it would be strange to have our fridge inside of the pantry...
backsplash is great, along with the task lighting.
Could I put a fridge inside a custom built in? Or would that just ruin a special architectural piece of our kitchen?
the rustic barnwood added to the kitchen island.
super functional with a smallish footprint.
the barn door!
I love the wood beams, the reclaimed wood island, and the industrial lighting fixutres
The corner couch/bench for the breakfast nook. Maybe make a half wall partition between the nook and kitchen, with the bench looking toward the yard, and the side where the bathroom is being open.
I love the tree branch being used as a hanging rail.
I really like the sink, barn lighting, and tray ceilings (although I think exposed beams would look great in here).
Love the reclaimed wood overhang! So beautiful.
I love the stools.
Has a somewhat similar layout to our kitchen. Maybe move the stove to where the microwave is.
