Create an interesting gallery of art, photos and collages on a blank wall. Use different sizes and shapes of frames but keep the colour palette simple to tie the whole look together. The addition of an oval mirror adds a nice contrast to the straight lines of the frames.
When decorating a large space such as this pool house it can be difficult to create a cohesive look. Here, the designer has picked up on the circular window and repeated it in the chair fabric, rug and accessories such as the ceiling fan.
Playing with proportions while staying in the same colour palette really works in this bathroom. The small horizontal stripes of the mosaic tiles contrasts nicely with the vertical grain of the wood and stripes on the mirror.
The tiled floor in this hallway picks up on the shape of the storage wall unit. The colours are echoed in the fun seaside themed wallpaper and the wooden seat top. The pattern and scale of the wallpaper works well in the scheme, a smaller one would have been dominated by the floor. Yellow accessories (wellies!) pull the whole look together.
