Houzz Tour: Luxurious Contemporary Apartment in Poland
Opulent design materials and fine art pieces up the glamour in a couple's Warsaw home
Polish art; Chinese, Japanese and Spanish influences; and luxury materials like backlit onyx make this Central Warsaw apartment a stunner. The clients, a couple in finance, travel often and wanted their home, which overlooks Łazienki Park, to reflect their love of the Orient and Spain. Working with them "gave me the most joy," says interior designer Pawel Sókol. "I learned from and was inspired by their passion for design — even down to the most minute details."

A luxe custom drapery track is hidden underneath a header and glows from panel lighting; silk curtains breaking at the floor give a puddled look and some movement to the draperies.

This picture shows backlit onyx panels in the ceiling, which add a visual richness that is favored by high-end hospitality and commercial spaces. Cathy Lara @MarieMeko, I've seen a lot of Eastern influenced baths on Houzz and this one is definitely one of my favorites. I also love, love, love the Flower of Life chandelier; it reminds me of giant jellyfish!
