| Terraced garden boxes are a great solution for those with uneven or sloping backyard spaces. Just be sure to install a proper drainage system. One important thing worth mentioning is to be sure to AVOID treated lumber for vegetable raised beds. You don't want your food absorbing the chemicals of treated wood. There's also the matter relating to which direction the long side of the bed should running - has something to do with maximizing sun exposure, but I can't recall the rule at the moment. Maybe someone else who knows will chime in.
