Love this idea book and absolutely agree!

what a fun read, charmean! the pooch underneath the bench is just killing me with cuteness right now.
EXACTLY MATCH our 4 pets . . . Cream, copper & black. Funny, eh ?
less vacuuming!
I don't have photos, but my silvery-pewter doggies (one a cockapoo, the other a Wheaten-Schnauzer (Whauzer?) mix) perfectly complimented my twilight lavender carpet & sofa. Local dirt was grey quarry sand: perfect.
I didn't do it consciously, but subconsciously? Maybe. Later, we had a huge rescue lab/husky (who came to us, not the other way around!) who was also all white with slight touches of cream. Interesting coincidence. So he matched as well, but he was also responsible for destroying the white wool carpeting of that decor. :) Now, many years later the pets have passed and I'm moving to a new home. So what should come first? New pet or new decor? Just one more decorating dilemma. :)
