Houzz is the new way to design your home.
The stools, the location and the "floating" look of the shelves
The slats on the upper but not the lower part of the window
Love the rectangular drain. Love the 3-pane upper section on this window. I might like the shelves - just don't know what would make sense to store on them...
One big dream - to have a kitchen with no upper cabinets
Nothing but wood, white, and (almost) no upper cabinets. This look resonates with me.
Here it is again - white, wood, no upper cabinets. Love the vent hood.
Compare tearing out the upper cabinets to getting new cabinet fronts that are flat like these - no lines, etc in the cabinet doors.
Vintage ceiling fan. Shelves with no brackets made of counter-top butcher-block looking shelves. That's a possibility. But what underneath? The hutch? I don't think so, but what?
I like the softness that comes from bringing some traditional blue and white into the room.
Maybe shelves like this on each side of sink. Wooden, no bracket, plain wall behind.
Brick wall on each side of sink. Pans hung over window.
Beams are awesome! Freestanding shelf?
I like this. Light fixtures, artwork.
