Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Togo Fireside Chair by Ligne Roset
Great for lounging during feeding.
Love the crib.
This could be made and a great DIY project.
Love the mobile made of a branch and the storage placed under the crib. Great idea.
Love the colored dresser idea.
Bedtime Bus Roll Poster - $25
I think they should have used spell check on pajamas. Lol
Love the name on wall.
Great idea for extra space with the wire baskets.
Like the accent above the crib.
Cute use of hanging their clothes up. Especially those adorable dresses or outfits.
Love the ceiling!!
Nice accent wall and good use of wallpaper. This could also be done with wrapping paper and some tacky glue dots.
The wall hangings could be easily created by using wood cut outs and painted.
The distressed frames can be easily created using any garage sale frame, then painted in the color palette of choice.
Whale Bookends - $150
This is a good idea to put all those children's books. Could easily be made by cutting some wood base bottoms, paint, and find a rubber or plastic piece (based off the theme) that can be cut in half. Then, glue to wood bookmark framing.
Alphabet Teethers - $20
Available at craft stores but can be pricey. There is a cardboard version of letters that are usually more affordable. They are less durable than wood; however, if they are used as wall hangings it really doesn't matter.
Desk House by Nine To Nine - AUD 409
I love this dresser. Would be an easy template to recreate.
Neat idea for siblings that have to share a bedroom. I think it is important to have each child with their own space so they don't feel overpowered by the other sibling. Even incorporating both names on the wall or their own themes. It is possible to have two styles in one room and make them blend together.
Eames Molded Plastic Armchair with Rocker Base - $519
Pricey but unique. Puts a modern touch to a vintage look.
Could always use matching piggy banks or stuffed animals as bookends.
I like the fabric name wall hanging. This is an easy DIY project by using the cardboard letters (available at most craft stores) and glueing fabric around them.
Could use any fabric material as wall hangings is some kind of backing is used.
I like how they used things from the baby shower as decor (i.e. diaper cake, 'it's a boy' banner.
Adorable room decor.
Very chic and clean modern look. I like the pattern walls with a striped rub on the floor. Goes very well together.
Cute way to make a dresser more than just a dresser. It's more like art. Love it!
I like the accent frames inside the closet. Could also have used chalkboard paint (which comes in various colors) so the kids would have a play space without taking away from the decor of the room. When finished, they could just close their closet to hide.
Love the lighting idea.
Great twist on built-in shelves.
I love this bed!! Perfect for sleepovers or siblings that have to share a room. The only downside is space. This is a particularly large room so smaller spaces may not be able to have bed longways.
Beautiful! Great way to blend the toys and kids items into an adult sitting room.
Immediately lets you know you are entering into the 'kids zone' lol.
Nice organized space and rich-looking decor that could blend well with the rest of the house.
Like the self-portrait. Vinyl wall hanging is simple and very inexpensive, yet goes well in this boy inspired room.
Ikea PS Cabinet | IKEA - $99
Would easily be recreated with some old school lockers.
I like the dresser / bookshelf. Room would really look nice with an air-balloon lighting hanging over the ceiling light fixture.
No specific theme but I like the colors and igloo tent.
I like the stripes going up the slanted wall.
I LOVE THIS!! Would love to recreate this for a play and sleep area for the grand kids.
I like the storage and seating all in one. Great space-saving idea.
Love the bench and storage area. Anything that uses empty space as a means of storage is an excellent way to de-clutter any kid's room.
