Elements of Style
Darker/browner floors, square balustrades
Another view of same staircase and showing wood extending down hall and switching to carpet at bedroom
Another view of the same house - I like pretty much everything in this house as far as overall style - you can look up the enitre house from any of these individual links
And it's the same house again! Again - browner floors, cased openings, beadboard (in moderation), and the window lights on top of the main window - but still the same style as what we have.
Pretty opening and wall color
Another pretty opening and wall color (this entire house is gorgeous, but a little over the top)
This is "the" house again - love the look and feel of this master. The main issue in the master is where to put the bed and tv. We don't really want a fire place, but a sitting area would be nice.
A lovely window that could work in master.
Pretty master bath
Husband and I LOVE these pebbles for the shower : )
This is the kind of "faux furniture" look I was talking about for storage - I need storage, but don't want the excessive built-on look.
We have a serious lack of drawers in the house. I need to decide if I need built-in like this, or just furniture
More drawer inspiration
Again - need to consider whether lack of drawer space is a furniture issue or built-in
Upstair hallwall inspiration (instead of the Star Wars tent)
I don't want to get too far afield before you give me your initial thoughts, and taking out the kitchen would be a fairly big deal, although potentially do-able, but I would die for this in place of the silly free-standing thing with open shelving that I have
I have this table!
I have this obsession with nooks and furniture in the kitchen but don't know if it's logical
This is a little ecclectic but for some reason i just love this whole look - check out the whole house as well
Probably the biggest issue with the house is where will we sit when we watch TV or hang out with friends/family. I tried to move my furnutre around in the living room to mimic this to no avail - but something like this - more broken up with a variety of conversational areas would be neat!
French doors flanking fireplace. Seating still a huge question mark/challenge
French door/fireplace combo
Pretty exterior - little columns are nice
Little window cornices
