contemporary love seats by Anthropologie
Greenfynch Settee, Vintage Suzani - $3,898.00 »
The toned-down colors of this suzani-style upholstery almost read as a neutral, so you get to have a trendy pattern and still keep it relaxed.
contemporary serveware by Mini Moderns
Whitby Porcelain Cake Stand - GBP 29.95 »
I like Mini Moderns' accessories for home because they allow you to get used to patterns without committing. If you fall in love with their patterns, they have amazing wallpaper too!
eclectic pillows by Shoppe By Amber Interiors
Chevron Embroidered Batik - $185.00 »
I love this batik pillow! Sure, it's not subtle in any way, but you can just toss it on or off your sofa according to your mood and decor.

Eskayel - Tigers Eye Wallpaper - $490.00 »
I adore Eskayel's wallpaper. The psychedelic, geometric prints are not for everybody, so to enjoy them I would probably frame them as art.

Peacock Print Bench Cushion - $625.00 »
I love the idea of taking patterned fabrics outside. Trina Turk's fabric collection is for both indoor and outdoor use, and I like it in big doses (sofa or bench seat) outside and small doses (throw pillow) inside the house.
contemporary rugs by West Elm
Swirl Rug - $129.00 »
Patterns are also for contemporary design lovers! I think this stripy swirl rug is great and can set the tone of a room's decor.

These Rikshaw pillows are so pretty and cheerful. They'd work well either for kids or grown-ups.

I like that the bed itself has a pattern. The small scale of the pattern and the classic color scheme keep it from being overwhelming.
eclectic duvet covers by Bloomingdale's
Diane von Furstenberg "Tie Dye" King Duvet Cover - $335.00 »
If there's an expert on patterns, she's Diane von Furstenberg. I think it's cool that she brought her sense of pattern from fashion to home decor, and I would love to sleep on these sheets.

Zebra Matches, Green - $7.00 »
Even the biggest pattern-phobe will agree to some zebra matchbook action (I hope so, at least). And that's definitely a step in the right direction.
eclectic pillows by Society Social
Seeing Spots & Stripes Pillow - $68.00 »
This new take on the classic dots pattern is beautiful, elegant, and subtle enough for those who are just starting to introduce patterns into their homes.

I would cover one wall in this wallpaper and paint the rest of the room the same beige. The glimmer of the pattern will keep it from blending in too much.
contemporary wallpaper by Hammocks & High Tea
Grey Chevron Drawer Liners - $25.00 »
Your drawers deserve pattern too! I still can't get over chevron, and drawer liners add so much chic; they show you really do care about details.
traditional lamp shades by Kathryn M. Ireland Shop
