Shabby Chic has been around for a while but thanks to some one like Rachel Ashwell of course she coined this phrase...to me shabby chic beach style is about living in your home with white and not being afraid to put your feet up ...I started out with white slip covers and haven't looked back since. Now my whole house is a slipcover of white...here's the trick there is a fine line between just plain shabby and shabby chic ....in order to do shabby chic.... less is more...too much shabby is just... well you know SHABBY.
