Our living room is long & narrow. ( 11' x 19'). The west wall has a large floor to ceiling window which we've outfitted with white plantation shutters. The opposite east wall features a fireplace and bookshelves. A vintage cabinet houses our flat screen on the south wall. The main entrance to the room is on the opposite north wall. Consequently furniture placement is a challenge! I've been searching Houzz photos to find a comfortable, practical, and visually pleasing floor plan.

Great for conversation... and window gazing
Stunning cognac leather chair, hide ottoman, and tripod lamp!
Two retro swivel chairs could facilitate both conversation and TV viewing.

| Couch in front of the window... chair on either end...TV on end wall... could work. |
| Sectional with chaise facing the fireplace...just fine. |
| |
| Large sectional in front of large window... looking good. |
Effective grouping... allows for conversation & some TV viewing... but the couch could block entry.

Another sectional with chaise under the window... getting there.

| Nice...a black leather sectional...it cuts the length of the room... accesses multiple focal points... looks cool... wears well... I'm there.
Love the ottoman too! Thanks, Houzz! |
