I love little nooks where you can highlight sculptures or different pieces to make a space unique to your personal interests or even just to add texture.
I feel this has a good balance and great contrasts between the whites, grays, black, and even the brown flooring. I do wish the painting was mounted on the wall, but overall great, comfortable space.
I love the use of barn doors as normal doors or even in this picture, to hide desk space. I (kind of) wish the door was a different color so that it would stand out just a little bit.
This bathroom space feels so comfortable due to the ambiant lighting and dark shadows. I absolutely love the rectangular vessel sink. I think the stucco wall and stone goes well together.
I love how they make this long hallway into a featured art gallery wall. It has a great contrast with the black and white photos, gray walls, and dark railing. The rectangular skylight makes the space complete.
This space just feels comfortable to me. I think it is because of the materials and natural light. I love the modern aspect of the tv shelf on the wall and how it is balanced with the opposite wall. I wish they would have done something different with the flooring and possibly the right wall color.
This space seems like a great place for entertaining family and friends. The transitions between the rooms are different, yet connected.
wood floors + white cabinets and stainless steel appliances make this space great in my opinion..
I love the idea of creating a water feature within any living space- interior or exterior. It changes the mood of the space and the person.
Great idea for 1-4 kids. Could be used for guests and your kid's sleep overs with friends. Also love the storage space near the floor for easy reach of any age.
I feel this space is balanced.. utilizing the natural light on the left. I don't know what it is, but I love the contrast of dark floors and light walls. I picture a huge group of people having breakfast in this space. Overall, the great idea of multiple choices of seating for over 10 people in a kitchen..
The architecture of this space is amazing.. from the 3 steps to the ceiling feature. I feel this is a larger idea of a pergola. Cement and natural stained wood make this space comfortable.
Personal pieces and art within a space is very important not only for the space itself, but also for the client to stay connected to things they love on a daily basis.
Love the dark wood pergola, stone flooring, nature, and lighting within this exterior space.
I'm not a big fan of the ceiling. The reason I chose this photo is because I like the use of dog dishes within the island to stay out of traffic flow of adults (and kids!) I also love the idea of having the island as a cutting board. Adds a large functional quality to the space. I find this very smart.
The table is amazing and once again I love the dark wood flooring in contrast to the stone (candle) wall. The lighting portrays a sparkle to the room.
I think this is a successful idea for an office space. The furniture chosen would make anyone feel comfortable and also important. Notice the grain on the desk goes with the planks on the floor.
This master bedroom feels huge, yet balanced. Contrasts of white, grays and browns play a positive aspect of this room.
I'm not sure what it is, but I love white kitchens. This might be too white for my liking, so I would pop some color into the stools and change the countertop color.. or even the trim on the window.. Looks clean and sleek.
Here you see some color! I feel this would be a great kitchen to wake up to in the morning whether you are with your family or friends. The windows make it seem like a sunroom within a kitchen space.
Like: arched transition wall, soffit, centered oven hood and the white cabinetry with the wood flooring.
I chose this photo because of the high window to transfer natural light into the space. I wish the mirror was larger.... since everyone is not that height..
Successful bedroom with the use of grays and yellows. I think the patterns work and that the mirror feature above the bed isn't "too heavy".
This would be a great space for a young adult to live in. I enjoy the art/photographs above the bed and the patterns on the pillows that makes this space pop.
I love this kitchen. It feels classic and sophisticated. The cabinets seem somewhat antique"ie" and I aboslutely love the dark wood chairs and large island.
This photo makes me feel like I am in Montana. I love the nature and rustic cabin like feeling of the space.
GREAT idea of having a perminant cutting board.. yet doesn't take over the island space. I love the hardware contrast with the cupboards, but I do wish there was island seating...
Overall architecture of the large pane windows makes this space amazing. The use of a large curtain is very functional and I love how the flooring direction just leads your eye out into the view. I also love the stone fireplace to create warmth in comparison to all the windows.
Great photo to show balance of light, texture and color.
Love the use of a tall stone fireplace within a cabin like structure.
