Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Glyn & Marguerite
open shelving on either side of fireplace
nice neutrals with lots of texture, bit of color
Example of going a bit greener with a dark window, lite batten
darker more rustic floor, lighter colored beams, travertine floors
painted built-ins vs darker woodwork. a greyer taupe for walls
kinda an opposite thought: dark main body of house, light accents.
a little less texture in the granite, "cleaner" looking white back splash
details of backsplash behind stove. example of white island with a unique countertop on island. Could just be dark granite.
busier backsplash, dark & dark island
dark counter top on main area of kitchen, lite on island. less glass in the cabinets than we have.
lighter wood, white accents, mid-range stucco. Not super-fond of rock, would choose something with less "pink" edge.
lite batten, dark window frame, mid range stucco, dark wood details
Not exactly what you have, but predominant dark batten & woodwork
THis is always what I worry about with alot of dark battens, light vinyl/stucco. The details of the house look very picture-framey (Iknow, technical terminology). Its a very Tudor look.
Very lite battens, mid range siding like yours, lite wood details
