My husband and I found ourselves empty nesters in a 6 bedroom house. We decided we wanted less house and more land, but weren't seriously looking for that change when we came upon a gold brick rambler built in 1955. It was situated on 1.5 acres of property that we loved. We sold our big-family-size house and took the plunge. Our plan was to do extensive renovations on the house. Incidentally, it had little to no updating over the years; walking into it was a bit like walking back in time. As we began 'digging in' we discovered it was completely structurally unsound. EXTERIOR - I like the way the gables are designed and trimmed. Also the front door.
EXTERIOR - nice framing around door surrounded by stone.
Love the dormer. Love the porch, porch railing and step style. Could work well for Fruitland Dr.

Door and window trim. Side trim looks narrower than top - bottom trim looks narrower that sides.
Top and bottom trim is same, but trim along bottom is narrower alone, but actually makes up difference so that entire bottom trim is same as sides and top.
