Stairs Stairs Stairs
I could do this! Would it look messy or be cool?
Drawers under stairs vs open "cubes". This is nice too...
Shelves vs cubes or drawers! Which works?
I think the space I can use is pretty small like this. Is it too busy?
Just beadboard or a design here is nice too, no storage, but I might end up with shoes there! Or Ari's tea set... :S
Is this an option for me?! It might be the best yet! :)
I think color and stripes are very fun! It doesn't really seem to go with my house décor, but it's still cool.
Just a few inches of wood on either side is a nice touch but not overboard. It still makes the stairs feel overall "soft". One suggestion was four inches on either side.
I like how the stairs change width at the bottom, how you can run down the stairs from the corner, without having to go down, then around a newel post to the corner. Is this an option in my stairs? The newel post would have to be moved, and there isn't a lot of room for that there. Jared had this idea and now I keep thinking about it but it just might not be feasible, or may be too expensive.
I like this striped runner! I think I still need more of a comfy plush carpet maybe but I think this is very cool
gray walls; the dark wood and white looks good against them! Stair rails and trim MUST be stained dark. Carpet on stairs TBD... (Well, carpet is going to happen, but should the risers be stained dark like the railings or painted white like the balusters? should there be any trim on the sides?)
This is what I'm talking about in regards to the stairs turning out, but mine need to turn out to the right (like here) but the newel post is on that side at the end. ?
