While I am a fan of all wainscoting, my preference is for styles that end above the midpoint of a wall.
Tip: When installing wainscoting avoid having the top edge end at the midpoint of the wall, which would result in a static look.

I need something that will withstand my grandsons' scuff marks.

/ cabinet is oval and we don't want it too high. So just poking around to figure it out. My hunch is do not split the room in half with the moldings but then too high makes a room look smaller so I quit.......wish I could it's been two weeks with no bathroom so far...
