It's the last week of March 2012, and this weekend are the NCAA Final Four basketball games in New Orleans. Having a son who loves nothing more than shooting hoops, I have been hearing about brackets, tip-off times and rankings for the past month. We have our DVR set for Saturday's games, which will determine the teams that will play in the finals on Monday evening.
After doing a little searching, I discovered other Houzzers who are big basketball fans too. Among the dream courts I found, some are lit for night games, one includes a rock climbing wall and one special court looks like it was built into an old barn. Whether or not you have plans to install a court of your own, you're bound to appreciate these gorgeous designs.

Pickup games can happen at any time of day. Be prepared by lighting up your court for the next nighttime tip-off.
Including a basketball court in the basement ensures that game time can always be supervised.

The scenery surrounding this home is beautiful. The homeowners get full views of the landscape and the game from the large, open deck.
Incorporating a rock wall in the same space as the basketball court doubles the fun.

In this wooded backyard, parents can barbecue with friends while keeping an eye on the game.

With a carpeted indoor court open to the rest of the home's living space, these homeowners can view shooting practice from almost any room.

The design of this court almost made my heart stop. The two-story windows, the chevron wood flooring ... it's all gorgeous.

eddielicious We added a hoop in our garage. The kids love it and have a year round play space. A remodel of our existing garage became necesary as the framing on our 1950's ranch disintegrated. Much better than spending money on our basement to create a play space for them.
