zuitzy Hi there! You don't know me, but I followed the link (to your blog) that you posted on someone's question and I just had to tell you how much I LOVE the staging that you and your daughter Candice do. You both have an amazing sense of style. I love the "steam punk" style of Candice's "library". Very nice!
We are renovating a home which was in foreclosure and abandoned for 2 years, near Ft. Lauderdale, so I've been collecting lots of ideas on this website. I hope you don't mind that I copied a couple of Candice's library for inspiration. Take care and good luck with your remodel!
kimb Good luck with your remodeling. I would love to see what you end up doing. I'm sure Candice will be delighted that you find her room inspiring. I really love her family room too. I finished my family room addition last year and just finished redoing my husband's office and living room. I'm enjoying the changes. (Also "steam punk/industrial styled." Some of my neighbors don't understand why I would pay for "old junk." They just don't see the beauty in it. I love it.)
maroqw Love your husband's shelves (wood and metal?). Would you mind telling me where you found them? Maybe I could have them made if they are one of a kind. Thanks.
kimb The shelves in my husband's office are from Texas. Twice a year they have a big show in and around round top. I'm headed down there again...the first week in April. These were purchased from Hans in North Gate Field. I think they were around $700 each. (I'm assuming you would what to know that but we're to polite to ask.). ;)
