Use of Stacked Stone and warm wood tones. In-wall wine storage.
Furniture placement (NOT style) and warmth of the textures.
Love the table
Good storage under the TV. Can we reuse my cherry cabs there? And maybe the storage ottoman is a good way to elim need for heavier recliners?
Could use hickory cabs...Nice against the stacked stone.
Could we consider a free-standing stove w/ chairs that could face different directions depending on action of the moment (theatre, pool, games, wine...)
Nice lighting. Nice combo of finishes.
Nice arrangement and fireplace...If we go that route. However isn't the TV high? With a wall-mount the stack stone forces it to be a specific size and height.
This doesn't have it exactly, but how about a barn door or sliding doors into the bedroom/shop area? Would allow for wider opening for carting in lumber, etc.
LIKE the off-center shelf above the fireplace.
Having a false bookshelf leading into the crawl space might work...We will need somewhere to store DVDs, electronics and game consoles somewhere...
Love the wall treatment and the dog.
This TV alcove sure fits with the house...but a bit formal.
Love the palette. Perhaps we could do dark reds and grey with coral and turquoise accents? Would that contrast too much with upstairs? Needs to capture the hues of the poster somehow and tie to the rest of the house.
Uncle. TOO much concrete. How about cork?
Like the casual feel, but prefer built ins rather than furniture on the wall.
Could work, but where do you put your feet?
Good combination of finishes and storage.
Pretty cool for kids!
Fun colors and I like the supportive couch with plenty of schlumping opportunities with feet on the ottoman... etc.
Like the corregated metal w/ barnwood effect. Could tie into the colorscheme if the metal were a bit more rusty.
Maps are good. I have 1/2 doz in the guest room which could just as easily fit in the basement...
Another barn door...and would cork work on the flooring?
Why do you suppose they made the stack stone an insert rather than the full wall?
Fun combo of metal and stone.
Do we want deck access? Ever?
Love the wide boards and hammered copper in this inset.
Needs color but nice background palette.
Stacked stone backsplash...
Area rugs; open storage
LOVE the lighting!
Way cool finishes
Mixed textures and wall art
For the deck or the basement... Lighting
Twigs from ceiling
for picture wall...
in under deck area?
Perfect by basement doors
For dog washing and muddy boots
How about patina'd rusted steel or copper??? Especially good if the walls are textured behind it...as in carpeted...
Another take on the fireplace finish...
This would work to tie in the exterior finish...
