planting succulents in driftwood; such a pretty arrangement
love the masses of liriope
garden entrance; i need a more formal entrance to my yard.
a stone path would add a nice touch, starting outside the gate and going all the way to the shed
i want a water feature by my bedroom window
beautiful layers of foliage; i need to clean out the fence line and put in more purposeful plantings
the final touch would be solar lights along the path(s)
garden beginnings, however humble, must happen in order for the finished garden to take shape
beautiful accompaniment to a river birch
eclectic use of pots and stands. Big Norfolk pine. Porch ideas or corner of kitchen
the words: the garden evolves and each year will be different...embrace the change
very little lawn; much more interesting plantings
so I can mix up the heights without worrying about the tallest plants being in the back!
massing plants would make my garden look bigger. e.g., along the east fence, instead of a collection of plants make it a mass of the same thing.
excellent advice about spacing plants; would make the garden look more spontaneous and interesting
always did love grasses
love this water feature with the succulents around it.
I like the article embedded here that tells how to care for amaryllis bulbs indoors.
my shed would look great with a whitewashed interior. With shelves built across the east side.
my shed needs doors instead of the garage door that is there.
Remember to use shallow pots or other containers for lettuce and greens. I've been using deep pots instead that could be better served by other plantings.
i'd like to grow peppers in pots on my deck.
i can put eggplants into those big pots i was using for lettuces.
Rain Barrel by Green Water
this setup would be easy to add to my garden at one of the 4 corners of the house.
Ajuga between pavers would make my garden paths more workable.
try planting ajuga in the east beds for groundcover; also under the wax myrtles on the north side
beautiful raised beds for edible gardens
i love this look; masses of just a few plants looking just as nature intended them. i want my daisies to spread; need russian sage again and native grasses
this would be a great idea for my shed. I could extend the front, switch out the garage door for a real door and window and add a sitting area / deck. a walkway of sorts would reduce the problem grass / weeds area and provide more seating in the yard. I could add a mulched area to the west for my jumps to end the problem of having to move them away from the spur-grass
door and window detail for shed improvements
succulent dish garden
splash fountain that the dogs would like
I love the deck, overhang, and French doors on this shed.
love this white fence with the colorful plantings.
different kind of hydrangea with contrasting grasses beneath
i think i could get this look with variegated hostas mixed with tiny blue flowers
i would love to have a couple of chickens!
very classy chicken coop
