contrast of marble
ressessed shelving and lighting for wall (West)
Resessed shelving with lighting. (West Wall)
Backsplash for vanity
Recessed, lighted, niche's
Ceiling light, centered; dark trimmed mirrors with wall lighting.
corner accent tile pieces
Like this tilted mirror
Note drawers to the left of the vanity
a large storage cabinet looks obtrusive next to the vanity. Prefer shelving built into wall. Too bold.
The accent on the cabinets is exactly what Tony was suggesting for our kitchen.........
Imagine a window in the middle and yours and mine towel racks on wall and on side of vanity. To the left, contemporary shelving for our towels and to the left (west wall) a nice bench with niche shelving in the wall behind?
A good idea and not too much trouble if we plan ahead with the electrical and vanity install...........
what if we used a 12 " border around the steam shower of the grayish pebbles we both like, rather than trying to get a uniform border around the entire bathroom floor. This accent looks great, creates some contrast and works really well considering the non-uniform nature of our floor
This represents the epitome of gaudy and disgusting, although it could be a functional way to hold the ashes of loved ones in the cheesy silver urns?
I think this detailed accent panel in the center of the floor looks out of place. and contrived.
I think this bency, in white would work against the west wall.
Again, I like this tilted mirror.
These shelves are slightly deeper/thicker than those we can buy but they are similar.
I like the clean look of the mirror and the shelf below.
Alternate bead board/wainscot approach.
I suspect this approach is dated but I still like it. Not too expensive but remember that for every tile laid (12 x 12) they must make 4 saw cuts to accomodate the diamond, black insert.
over mirror lighting
Over the mirror lighting and carrera small tile backsplash
Carrera backsplash with wood trim under white framed mirrors.
Possible mirror treatment
Simple tilting mirror which won't require "framing".
Ceiling wainscoat with a centered ceiling fixture.
I like this backsplash the best along with the wall bead board.
Plain simple shelving, to the left of the vanity?
Wainscot and shuttered windows in white. I like.
The niche on the left is the idea I have for the west wall. Dramatic and not very expensive and creates a continuous wall where we have one already (west end of existing shower).
Carrera walls seems too heavy and greecian to me. I like the bead board. Classy and not too heavy at a fraction of the cost of marble.
I have looked at 100's and 100's of bathrooms. This is the only pic I found where two sinks are separated by a window.
Using our existing mirror on the west wall to open up the room and reflect the shelving we'll put in left of the vanity.
I think I like these bevelled arched mirrors the best for over the vanities. Elegant and not too heavy, above which would go the 4 bulb light fixtures?
Lights installed against a wall high mirror?
