Jury is still out on whether or not I can combine the oil rubbed bronze finished hood with the rest of my stainless steel appliances. I am hoping through the countertops and backsplash, the transition will work and look more designer eclectic than confused.
38" 1270CFM Copper RangeHood w/Screen Filters - $4,425
I love the finish and the clean structure. The type of material conveys an old world classical feel but the clean lines help it lean more contemporary without being too ornate and tacky.
I love the rich warm maple finish of the cabinets. I also adore the simple clean lines of the style of cabinet. I like the contrast of traditional maple cabinets with the contemporary lines of stainless steel. It's a balance I hope to achieve in my own kitchen.
GE Profile 24" Built-In Dishwasher - $539.93
I like the fact that the controls are in the top of the dishwasher and out of view so they don't ruin the lines of the appliance. Also, the curved handle is not only beautiful but functional.
GE Oven. Profile 30 in. Double Electric Wall Oven Self-Cleaning with Convection - $2,969.10
I dream about double ovens but am not a fan of convection ovens, so this would be perfect. I love the stainless steel finish, clean lines and I love that they are both similar sizes. I dislike when you have one large top oven and a smaller (useless) lower oven.
Five Star 48" Pro-Style LP Gas Rangetop with 6 Sealed Burners
Six sealed gas burners - what is there NOT to like? My husband only wants gas cooktops in the house and the ability to have more than 4 pots on the stove at once in addition to a center grille sounds like heaven. Looks high end, but still has functional knobs and not digital (cheap) controls.
Angle Power Strip
Such a brilliant idea, I don't understand why ALL islands/countertops don't have this feature.
These are very similar to a pendant style that my former boss had in her kitchen. They really are spectacular and I love the warmth of the color and the softness of the lighting. The only thing I might change is I may have to raise them up a bit higher than shown.
Transitional Kitchen Expansion
I love that the warm browns in this granite countertop would pick up the warmth of the maple cabinets. I like how it would be cohesive and make the black granite less stark and more inviting.
