Houzz is the new way to design your home.
good use of space, good sectioning of fireplace space and contrast texture on wall behind fireplace, also good built ins in the hallway. the overall feel is warm and inviting to me
I like the seat and the space to put shoes under, area to hang things and sit, also some shelves for different people's things seems great
i like the trays and semi hidden storage area under the seat
i like the mixed patterns of wood on the ceiling and floor and doorway - it would be nice to have an element of this in the house ...
i like the mixed wood color pattern on the floor - while this might be too dark for my place, if we can put this on the wall paneling or somewhere in the entryway area or stairway, great...
i like the floor, i didn't think it would be my favorite but it seems like the color of the wood trip on the hallway window, and has that multiple color look where not every piece looks the same on the floor...
nice door, i like the look, probably would use a darker wood
how about this for a door to the deck? interesting but maybe not practical in this space. i like the idea, but probably would need convincing that it is practical. no doubt it's stylish
i might do this along my stairs (only if it works)
dig the flooring pattern
i like the wall cut outs, not sure if it applies to my place, but good
i like the red, the tall door, and the green/plants on the side, it feels inviting, spacious, yet grounded
not totally sure how i feel about it, but it got my attention
i like what i can see of that door. creative touch / use of wood plus some texturing on black door?
love the use of space and materials, feels really clean yet useful. contemporary and practical
dig the fold up bed, and the one wall that is wood + matching desk
i like the tub shape, and how the wood and tile work together, it works for me
i like the wood accents on the beams/ wood beams that you see the brown on ceiling... it feels nice
total wish list for church st... nana door opening to deck like this would be amazing.
does not apply to church st, but fyi in terms of style... there's a lot that works for me about this room, but probably has more to do with how it works with the setting... looks like a lakehouse. big windows with lots of light, nice floor pattern, it fits the setting it's in and has a warm cozy feel to me.
